The aim of this project is to develop a new space of value for Ullared. Functioning as a

counterweight to Gekås, it will create a more resilient and independent place for the community,

one that is neither dependent on nor defined by Gekås.

“Line, points and network” is the core concept of this project. It will create an unofficial meeting

point, something Ullared today lacks, on a piece of land which connects the forest, the river,

Hallandsleden and the community.

In the concept, the “line” represents the river, the “points” refer to the new social meeting place

established here, and the “network” describes the long-term vision: using this initial point as a

prototype that can be replicated throughout Ullared and along Högvadsån to strengthen links

between surrounding areas.
