Kaskeloten
Linnea Brose, Marc Schweiker

Kaskeloten is a community project in Väjern were the aim is to create a centralized sustainable, intergenerational community hub. Since the harbor is the heart of the Village, an old fishing house is renovated to accommodate the project. Combining traditional building techniques with modern design, it will feature a community kitchen that serves as a space for people of all ages to connect. In summer, the building will operate as an affordable restaurant using local ingredients, while in winter, it will focus on community use, offering the kitchen to all. The project aims to preserve traditional cooking knowledge passed down from seniors to youth, addressing the lack of intergenerational spaces in Väjern and fostering collaboration, trust, and sustainability.
